Creative Ideas for a Market in Demand

Published by admin under jobs

A recent article published on March 10, 2008 titled “Creativity Counts” in the Los Angeles Business Journal highlighted the demand of industrial markets throughout the Southern California region. Cities such as Sylmar and Pamona are capitalizing and benefiting from the construction of new developments with tenants eager for space. The new buildings are more “modest-sized owner-user projects” for businesses to operate. This model has attracted startup companies and existing operators in need of more space.

This type of development is just one of many ideas that can be possible along Crenshaw Blvd. Most importantly, we want to hear from you on your thoughts and ideas on jobspace.

Completion of Community Workshop #2

Published by admin under workshop

The second Mid-City Crenshaw Community Workshop held on March 1 was attended by over 50 participants. Community Redevelopment Agency - Los Angeles (CRA) and consultant team presented a preliminary Vision Plan that was draft from the comments and ideas we received at the first workshop and from the task force.

Following the presentation, participants discussed ideas about the draft Vision Plan and provided valuable input to refining their vision of Crenshaw Blvd. We appreciate everyone’s participation as it is critical in helping to shape the future of the Crenshaw community.
