DALLAS BANKSTON, Assoc. AIA, Senior Designer, joined Urban Studio full time in 2005 after two years part time during his graduate studies. At Urban Studio he is currently overseeing the progress of a $7 million automobile showroom facility incorporating showrooms, service areas, car storage and administration in Woodland Hills. He is also working with the Community Redevelopment Agency of Los Angeles and community groups in the design development of the Hollywood Farmers Market, a complex to feature a retail area where farmers can display and sell their products seven days a week, plus a teaching kitchen and a café. Bankston has been responsible for several other CRA projects, including façade improvement projects in the Pacoima earthquake district.
Prior experience for Colorado firms includes drafting loft and residential remodel projects, design and production of construction documents, and setup and technical support for small computer networks. Skills include working with FormZ, MiniCAD/Vectorworks, Photoshop, Illustrator, QuickTime, MS Office, HTML, technical Drawing and Black and White photography.

Bankston is a graduate of the Southern California Institute of Architecture (M.Arch) and the University of Colorado, Boulder,CO (B.ENVD Architecture).
