HILDEGARDE DUANE, Marketing Coordinator and Administrator, joined Urban Studio in 2005. She oversees promotions and marketing and has contributed to the success of proposals for work with private clients as well as the CRA/LA and the City of Santa Barbara. Administrative work includes business and financial matters, human resources, office and web content manager.
An internationally exhibited conceptual artist, Duane previously worked as a film and television producer and writer, public relations manager, museum curator, China art scholar and college lecturer.
Duane is a graduate of Barnard College, Columbia University (BA, Chinese Studies), the Institute of Fine Arts, NYU (MA Chinese Art and Archaeology) and the PhD program, Fogg Art Museum, Harvard University (Chinese Art History).
